Good quality material. The sleeves are perfect for me but may be short for some people with longer arms. I like the hood.
By Akitalo from Fort Lee, NJ on 06/11/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice lightweight waterproof jacket. I took it to Vegas for hiking in the desert. It actually rained while we hiked. The light blue color was not heat adsorbing when it was sunny (and became hot)yet was waterproof and windproof when it rained (and quickly became cold). My sister was wearing it at the time and consquently stole it from me. I had to buy another one for myself.

I especially liked how the hood is reinforced how the drawstrings made it adjustable.
By Mountain Girl from Utah on 05/20/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Backpacking, Biking, Cross Country, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Summer sports, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love that it's waterproof AND so thin and lightweight. The pockets filling backward is a little weird, but it's nice not having bulk immediately in the front. Need to get through the learning curve of reaching in with the opposite hand. Not a huge deal.
By Jeannie from New York on 04/29/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: running/walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice light weight jacket. Great for running or just for casual wear with jeans. I plan to use it when I travel. Light weight, windproof and water proof. I bought the jacket in light blue so that my partner will be able to easily identify me from afar.
By Cruiser from Colonial Heights, VA on 04/25/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Alaska Cruise - Layering Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Rainy, cool weather Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this for it's waterproof and lightweight (amazingly light) qualities to pack for Alaskan (rainy) cruise. Light as a feather. Noticed similiar items were described as 'quiet'; this one is not as the fabric is a little noisy when you move.
good lightweight rain gear By jane from hawaii on 03/28/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The wire in the hood helps keep the rain off my glasses, but does make the jacket awkward to pack. I bought the jacket for short hikes and to keep in my bag for unexpected rain while running errands on my bike. So far it's held up well in the bottom of my bag, getting groceries piled on top of it, and has keep me perfectly dry during light rain, but there hasn't been a real downpour yet so I don't know how well the zippers will hold up under steady rain.
