This one is great for rainy, but not cold weather.. but a sweater fits under very nicely for clammy days.
By chef jim from Atlanta GA on 10/27/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great to use as a waterproof shell with many sweater weights or vests.
Nice it but it should be better By Ed from NY from Long Island, NY on 10/25/2009 Cons: Faux suede collar, Sleeves not lined, Zipper on left Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a quilted casual jacket I could wear on errands around town. This one has a nice design, seems well made, good for cool not cold days. Be aware that the zipper is on the left, which is a little annoying. Sleeves are not lined - goes on fine over short sleeves but long sleeves get bunched up. Also not too crazy about the faux suede collar; the longish nap looks a little off. Despite these quirks, this is a nice classic jacket at a good price.
All-season light weight and waterproof By Mac from Tulsa on 10/22/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was pleasantly surprised to receive such a nice jacket that was described as a 2nd. And having a jacket that is washable will save dry cleaning expense. I plan to wear year-round.
DID NOT KNOW THIS WAS A 2ND !!!!!! By NONE from HUNTLEY, ILLINOIS on 06/25/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: SIZING IS WAY TO LARGE..I AM RETURNING THE JACKET.

By WaitingforSummer from Southern New England on 05/06/2009 Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The mid-level pockets are extremely small and are tough to get your hands in. Otherwise, given these are 2nds, this jacket is an extremely good value from STP. It is warm in cool weather with judst a shirt under it, and protects from the rain.
By Lauer from Northeast PA on 03/30/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is a terrific alternative to Barbour's waxy fabric. It is rain and wind resistant yet doesn't feel like it's weighing you down. Good looking and all-around useful.
By johninsonora from sonora ca on 02/24/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the lightweight fabric so much better than Barbour's waxed jackets, wish the olive was a little darker, but this is a typical well made Barbour product.
I would buy this product again By Dan from Toledo, Ohio on 01/22/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have become a collector of Barbour coats and this one is the best all around coat they make. Its very light, but has room to layer with a heavy sweater. It breaks the wind as good as any coat I have owned and also sheds of a rain storm. Plenty of roomy pockets and lots of style. I mostly wear this jacket from 30-60 deg, but could go lower with a heavier sweater. This is my second Light Weight Barbour Beaufort purchased from Sierra. My older one can now be dedicated to walking my Springer and going to the barn.
