By english rider from maryland on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice, light windbreaker which packs into an extremely small parcel. However, though it fit everywhere else, it was tight across the chest, and I am not large in the chest. (5'3", 36 B bra). I had to return it for this reason. Other than this sizing issue, it is a good product.
Light Weight and Good for wind/rain By pafmarwak from Oregon on 04/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Cons: Frays, Small Pack Pocket Best Uses: Hiking, Marathon Walking, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear a fanny pack while walking. The buckle on the waist band wore through the fabric. Rip-Stop fabric would be a good addition to this pullover. I like this pullover as it takes up a small space in the fanny pack when not being worn(once you manage to stuff it in its pocket). Surprisingly wind proof. Good at keeping me dry in light rain.
very light, somewhat useful By avid bike commuter from Seattle, WA on 11/16/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've worn this shirt a bit while biking on brisk but dry days.
It fits oddly - too tight in the hips and shoulders, too loose in the chest and neck. It doesn't look flattering on my short-torso average-bust frame.
It's super light weight anyway!
By backpacker/caver from marysville, oh on 07/23/2008 Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I thought I was ordering a women's large but the tag inside the product is actually a men's. So, order a size down.
By BirdGirl from Seattle on 07/20/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Washes Easily Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This windshirt packs down really small and is very soft and lightweight. And a great color. It does run a little small, as I usually wear a medium and the large fits me in this shirt.
By Loves to Travel from Redmond, WA on 07/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Kept me dry, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Packed only one carry-on bag for 2 1/2 weeks in Europe, so light-weight was essential! I followed other's advise and bought large even though I normally pick small or medium. The large size fit me, was lightweight as advertised, and saved me from the rain several times. I could just carry it in my purse. Breathable and not too hot. The length turned out to be handy in the rain.
By The light weight hiker from Sunnyvale, CA on 07/15/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a shirt more than a jacket. It's a snug, tailored fit that looks nice. The only con I see is that it packs so small, it can get lost in my backpack ;-)
By Windy from Los Gatos, CA on 07/01/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Washes Easily Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The large size is more like a medium.
love it, but too narrow in the bodice By hiker/biker/boater/skier from Seattle, WA on 06/25/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Good color, Lightweight, Stylish, Washes Easily Cons: Poor Fit, Warn descriptionnarrow Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Skiing extra layer, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The ice blue was a great color and everything about it was good but the body was way too narrow. I gave it(size12) to a friend who is an 8-10 on top and it barely fit her with no extra room.
It would be helpful to include a mention of this fact in the product desription.
Not enough substance to the fabric. By cello mom from jeannette, pa on 06/23/2008 Cons: Feels like cheap fabric Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Felt awful against the arms. Poor fabric
