The seams are flawless and the fit is accurate. Even torrential downpours are no match for this jacket. I have utilzed it on camping and skiing outings; it keeps you dry.
By Long Tom from Layton, UT on 11/19/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Jacket material seems strong, lightweight. Front is Taffeta, arms and back ripstop. I am 6'2'' and a small fits perfect, sleeves may be a little long for you shorter folks. Only thing it is missing is a powder skirt, other than that top notch all the way. I don't know about long term durability yet but construction is solid with most every seam a sew-less thermaweld, and materials seem high quality. In my experience ripstop lasts longer than most. My size small weighed in at 22 oz.

Better than I'd expected! By Hub from Vail, CO on 09/27/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Super nice jacket! Very lightweight, but durable... I usually wear nothing but Gore-tex, and tend to spend up to $400.00 for a nice waterproof shell. This jacket will absolutely do the job, and the price makes it even better. I ski about 75 days a season, and I'm excited to see how this holds up.
