Liner or a Sweater underneath it, helps. But it's a good rain shield,if you're NOT Going far enough, to want to tote an umbrella.

Because of this we are returning product. If you do not work to hard at your snow sport you may really like this jacket.

One of the best I've owned By Grandpa Moses from New Kingstown PA on 12/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is one of the best Columbia 3 in one jackets I've owned yet. I had one that I bought in the mid 90's that I have practically worn out, but still wear it from time to time because it is so comfortable. I bought a Columbia "Titanium" 3 in 1 jacket about 5 years ago but it has not held up because they used mesh in the pockets that has developed numerous holes in them, and other defects are starting to appear as well. The mesh lining was the big problem because a jacket is worthless if things fall out of or get caught on the holes in the mesh in the pockets. This jacket appears to be as solid as my mid 90's jacket and I look forward to wearing it for years and years. The "Titanium" jacket I bought five years ago almost made me swear off Columbia products, but I know they are still making excellent products and this is one of them. I give this a thumbs up and a full five star rating.
