Comments:
Thought the description said this piece had a snow skirt, it doesn't say that now but that's what I thought when I purchased it. None the less I think it will preform for it's price. I probably won't test it out in wet weather unless I am close to home.

Comments:
Overall, I really like this jacket. The material stretches so nicely that any activity, (running, hiking, climbing, running to the store... etc.), all go over without a hitch. I can tell it's made extremely well, with a great deal of attention to detail. And on top of all that, it looks great. However, the material is almost too breathable at times as wind really does slice through this thing. When I'm wearing it around town I typically layer a light fleece underneath to help insulate myself from the elements. When I"m working up a sweat, the breathability is welcomed. Overall, I'd recommend it, just know what you're buying and don't expect a waterproof/windproof jacket.

Like any quality tool/garment, it delivers on what it is designed to do. I've been wearing my Rayzar around town in cool temps and just had my first day skiing in it -- it performed great over a base layer and a thin insulation layer. I was in good conditions -- sunny with little wind, and I can't imagine a more comfortable shell for those conditions. Moreover, I know I can layer much more insulation under it and expect it to do just as well.

Solid softshell. While not having the weather to truly test, this jacket should be great by itself (with proper layering) in most conditions and also be a good layering piece in very cold / wet conditions. This jacket also looks good and seem like it can be worn as an everyday jacket when the temperature is a bit cold.
