I needed something that keeps out the wind that I can still run in and stay dry.

This is a better jacket than any I saw there. I really like the look and the breathable, waterproof fabric. The cut is good and comfortable, although the sleeves seem a tad long (I am 6'1" 220 and bought an XL). The hood can be rolled up into the collar; I don't generally do that with my hoods (too lazy) but it's a nice feature. Also the hood is not part of the collar; it's a separate thing behind the collar. I find that more comfortable - I have tried the other kind and they are only comfortable with the hood up. A couple of small negatives - the main zipper and the pocket zippers do not slide easily. And the pockets are mesh on the inside - I would prefer a separate pocket fabric. But overall, 4 stars out of 5.
