Lowe Alpine Landscape Jacket fit By ralphrides from NJ on 07/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Skiing/Snowboarding, Warmer snowboard days, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket chest and mid section run small, order one size larger. Arm length and hood is generous though, can fit riding helmet in it. Its fully lined except mesh in the pit area, with no pit zips, so its not a summer rain coat. Nice soft collar and lining, blue is nice looking. Hood is huge with a formable wire rim so no need for ball cap to keep rain out of face. Hood folds under collar if you want for style. Seems well made substantial feel to it, about 1.5 pounds weight for 2XL. Not packable but light in weight so can fold up in pack if needed.
Returned, too small, wish it came in 3X By Rich from Port Charlotte, Fl. on 06/25/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Had to return, too small wish it came in size 3X
So far so good, it's only been a month. By Jim - special operations medic from Indianapolis, IN on 11/07/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've only had the jacket a month but it has stood upto heavy rain, wind, and light snow.
The shaping wire found in the bill of the hood is a little cumbersome but comes in handy in downpooring rain.
