This jacket is refreshing in its simplicity and excellent design. Haven't tested in downpour- not expecting to be like Gore XCR, but I'll take it for the light weight and summer use.
Thanks STP for meeting all my slick material needs!

The water taped seams combined with the Gore-tex shell will keep you dry and comfortable. It's light enough to don during warmer weather downpours, yet there is enough space underneath to layer during the winter months. The two internal pockets are a welcome feature also. GoLite is a top-notch company with a great reputation. Plus with the price here at STP, you simply cannot go wrong. I may even purchase another...

Great bargain.
Apart from being great lightweight rain Jackets they are great at keeping the cold wind out.
Thank you Sierra Trading Post.

It is well ventilated with the pit zips, has all the pocket space you could need, and has a regular fitting hood. This is the best storm shell I have found after looking at many. The tag says it weighs 13.5 oz, not 16 as this site indicates.
