good for humid environment By nfritz from Denver, CO on 10/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got this jacket for rain in a hot, humid environment. It's great because it has breathing slits from under the arm to the waist. It's perfect and lightweight. I did get one size larger after reading the reviews, and it fit perfectly.
By College Girl from the West Coast on 09/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Flattering, Lightweight, Packs small, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Biking, Casual Wear, Hiking Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: (38-29-41, 5'8, got size M) I got this jacket last winter for a spring break (late March) trip to the Appalachians. It was perfect for the trip--it kept the chill off (it's surprisingly warm, for a totally unlined and ventilated jacket!) but I didn't overheat when I was active. It layers well over a sweatshirt for added warmth, and actually looks slimmer that way than when I wear the sweatshirt by itself. The fit is slim and flattering on me while allowing for total freedom of movement, though it is a short jacket--best not to wear it with low-slung pants, especially when biking. It won't keep you bone dry for extended periods in heavy rain, but it's nice to have when it's sprinkling or for short trips. It's so light you can just stuff it in your purse or in a pocket of your backpack and pull it out if the weather turns. Overall, I'm very pleased. It's the only jacket I own that I'm 100% sure I'll use each and every quarter at college (in the Bay Area, CA), as well as in the summer at home (in Western WA).

By Suzie Stagehand from Madison, WI on 08/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've worn this jacket only once since I got it but it's been in my backpack (with me barely noticing it - it's that light and compact) for days. I was looking for something packable to protect me from a little bit of rain and this fits the bill. I used an umbrella along with it when it rained hard, but the water that did end up on the jacket beaded nicely and I stayed dry.
Finally a nylon running jacket By Inchbyinch from Maine on 08/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking, Running XC skiing Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nylon performs better than polyester, as its more wind resistant and doesn't retain odors the way poly does, so I was happy to find this nylon windbreaker jacket. Mesh underarms for breathability will make this jacket work well for fall and spring running in NE. Runs small. I wear a size 4-6 and had to order a medium.
