By Todd from Silver Spring, MD on 10/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, nice color, Nice Pockets, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Layered under a shell-versatile, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've only worn the jacket in rain one time, but I was happy wit it's water repelling qualities. The rain clearly beaded on the jacket's surface and I did not feel clammy on the inside despite have on a fleece underneath for warmth while walking my dog through the woods. I love the olive green color. Hopefully this jacket will stand up well as winter is approaching fast!
Good Rain Jacket - Just As Advertised By The Dude from Fort Collins, CO on 10/27/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Everyone complaining about this jacket probably had unreasonable expectations about it. This is an unlined, lightweight waterproof shell made for rainy days, not monsoon weather or winter storms. It's kept me dry through many a rainy day just fine. Good for hiking and backpacking, because it is light and packs down small. If you want a jacket for extreme hardcore conditions, put your money toward a Gore-Tex® shell. But for under $50, this is a good lightweight, no-frills rain jacket.
Keeps you warm without the expense By Eusebius from Warner, NH on 10/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Cons: Haven't owned long enough Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It seems to be a great little rain coat. I am concerned about the material that was used to seal the seams. Inside the coat each seam is lined with a cellophane-type material. I hope it will stand up to a few years of wear.

Light, Simple, Waterproof Shell: B+ By Rod H. from Chicago, IL (USA) on 10/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this to keep in my commuter bag for rainy days here in Chicago. It gets plenty of use, and is light-weight and easy to store.
I haven't yet taken it with me camping or hiking, and it likely won't breathe as well as some of my other items for very strenuous activities.
But, for around town and for even long walks in the rain, I would rate this a solid: "B+"
