functional raincoat at a great price! By joholu182115 from Tuscaloosa, AL on 09/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i bought this jacket for my son to use at college. since i had purchased other name-brand "raincoats" that, upon wearing in even a light rain resulted in his being soaked, i waited to review this item until he had an occasion to test its advertised claim for being waterproof. after sitting in a torrential downpour at a football game for 2 hours he confirmed that the jacket truly is waterproof! there was just a small bit of moisture on the inside of the coat, but that's to be expected in 80+ degree weather on a humid southern afternoon, especially considering he was wearing a wool sports coat underneath! he was very pleased with the coat's performance, and i am, as usual, very pleased with the overall shopping experience at sierra trading post!!

Nice reflective piping for night visibility, Excellent zipper/storm flap system. Cut a little wide at the bottom hem, it requires full use of its draw cords to seal against the elements.
