By zeenie from pasadena ca on 11/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable lightweigt, Durable, Haven't worn it in rain, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Constricts Movement, Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: casual use in cool or cold weather. If you are big busted the XL does not leave enough room for layering.I can only have one thin extra layer. Other available sizing such as 1X or 2X would be better for layering. [...] Great company to purchase from.

By Trail Voulcher from Pennsylanvania on 10/02/2009 Cons: Irregular Size, Not Waterproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Every season of the year Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The jacket is advertised as waterproof. I bought two of the jackets for my family. I loved the light wieght of the jacket. However, when my family wore them in an all day rain event, it did not take long to realize they were not waterproof but water resistant. Water soaked through, soaking both my wife and daughter. Would not recommend this jacket for use in the rain.
Perfect for a sunny day in the mountains By rasta the dread from Iowa City, IA on 09/29/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof Cons: Irregular Size, Not Warm Enough Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The only thing that I wish was a little different was the warmth of the jacket. It would be nice to have a thin liner on the inside of the jacket, as well as the waterproof outside. When I did a second search, after I received the jacket, I realized there are really light rain jackets and really heavy snow jacket- but no in between.
I would buy this product again By LSU Tigress from New Orleans, La. Geaux Tigers! on 09/24/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Football games Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I thought the jacket worked well. I use it primarily for watching college football games. It worked pretty well, considering I was sitting still for 3 1/2 hours and about half of that time was in a steady down pour. I just wish it could have been a little longer.
By desertbound from Ogden, Utah on 08/15/2009 Pros: Details, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered this jacket for a backpacking trip I was planning. I love how lightweight it is. Love the color (glacier green)! I usually wear a size small, but after reading the reviews, I ordered a medium and I am very happy with the fit. It is roomy enough for layering. I have used it in the wind, but not the rain, yet. I looked far and wide (online & and around town) for a jacket that was less expensive than this one and actually fit me, but couldn't find one. So far I am happy with this one!

By Sinderella701 from Vermont on 07/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very light and packable! The taped seams really improve the overall quality. The sizing is small, so did buy the next size larger, which works for light layering underneath. The green is quite attractive.
By ActiveGalwithDog from Durango, CO on 07/01/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great lightweight jacket for the price. I live in Colorado where it generally only rains hard for a short while, and this coat works great! I don't know if it would hold up to Pacific NW rains, but if you live there, you get Gortex. Very light and packable - and the beet is a stylish color. This will be my backpacking rain jacket for sure. It could breathe better, but again, for the price, it's great! Feels true to size.
