What a Jacket, great value! By Sports Enthusiast from NY,NY on 11/12/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the Fabric, I buy a lot of arcteryx and underarmour, this jacket I love just as much. The material can stretch, it is water resistant, windproof and the inside is soft. Great overall softshell!
By Tom from East Tennessee on 11/08/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I would need gain 50lbs to wear this one.
By Fencepost from SW Washington on 08/15/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a medium; received it today. This jacket is not "vanity sized," it's a true medium. I have a 38" chest and it fits well without being blousy. I'm 5'9" tall with long arms (6' fingertip to fingertip) and the sleeves are long even on me, coming to mid-palm when my arms are relaxed at my sides. At least my wrists won't get cold. The torso is longish, too. Overall, I like the minimalist styling; I plan to wear it to the office and to church during spring and fall. Great price for the product (waterproof/breathable soft shell). Contrary to the picture, the logo says Red Ledge instead of Pro Rainer. Will see how it performs.
By Riceye from Wisconsin on 08/09/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is such a good value. This soft shell jacket compares favorably with other, much more expensive soft shells.
And it does have generous sized water bottle pockets inside, not listed in the product description.
Great but basic shoft shell (bargain) By Bargain Shopper from Detroit area, MI on 07/17/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Versatile Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic, Eclectic Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a soft shell for camping. I shopped for some time to find a deal. I tried several jackets. This one is a great buy. It fits well. Room for a sweat shirt underneath. The jacket lacks extras. But it has the basics. It includes two hand warming pockets. The outer material is the typical thick stretch, interior is thin fleece. In between the two is a membrane laminate of windblocking breathable barrier. Skip the brand names. Go for this jacket.

No frills but a good jacket. The only thing I wish it had were pit zippers for when it warms up...

Technically Superior Product By MPB4628 from San Pedro, California on 12/07/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Rain and Wind Resistant, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Foul weather Yacht Racing Describe Yourself: High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is one of the most technically well-constructed and engineered products that I have ever purchased. Not extraneous features just solid function. As an active yacht racer I use a lot of high-end waterproof and “expensive” membrane foul weather gear. Although it meets it’s design standard it does little to keep you warm and comfortable. Using this jacket as a mid layer raises the comfort level exponentially. Additionally it’s wind and spray resistant qualities make it ideal for use alone on deck when weather is less miserable or when off watch down below. This jacket is an indispensable item for off shore, overnight races. Runs a bit large.
Funky neoprene-like fabric By ski guy from Washington State on 11/08/2007 Cons: Awful fabric, Ghastly color Best Uses: Turning women off Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is too long, runs large apparently, and is made from very wierd, neoprene-like fabric that is stiff and really quite awful. If you woiuld build your house out of erzatz building materials like plastic instead of wood, you might like this jacket. The color was also awful. I sent it back.
