By J from VA on 01/24/2009 Pros: Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great softshell jacket, it fit swell on me with a fabric that feels great to the touch. For the price, it is definitely a great deal. However, when moving around I did notice that the jacket felt a little stiff, but it doesn't bother me that much.
By jules from Santa Fe, nm on 01/22/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great winter weather shield against the elements and light weight enough to wear in warmer weather. Doesn't have the bulkiness of the winter coat but keeps you just as warm.
By weather tech from Cincinnati, OH on 01/22/2009 Pros: Affordable price, Attractive Design, Built-in membrane, Comfortable, Durable, Fabric moves with you, Good Cut, Great weatherproof shell, Lightweight, Minimalist design, No goofy cutspatterns, No silly logos, Outer DWR finish, Ultra-functional material, Windwaterproof breathes Cons: Not warm for leisure, Runs small size up one Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Great winter ACTIVE wear, Shell wear over midlayer Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a 'longish', parka-length (vs. jacket length) weatherproof shell (to wear over a midlayer), that would retain its weather-resistant properties, and not "peel off" from washing. This jacket has both an outer/DWR finish, and also an inner, waterproof/breathable membrane, behind a layer of microfleece, with a nylon layer on the outside. The softshell fabric moves with you. The hood really blocks the wind, and also features a nice little visor on it. The sleeves each have a 'finger-loop', for either dressing under something else (if you get it for a trim fit), or for keeping the sleeves close around your hands. The only two front pockets are very roomy, wind-proof, fleece-lined, and have zipper closures.
Good basic design, ultra-functional soft shell material, at an incredible price. Trim fit; size up to wear as shell over midlayer.
Snug and long enough for tall guys By RiceNShine from nyc on 01/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Cut, Lightweight Cons: Not Enough Pockets, Thicker material needed Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great thin Spring/Fall Cool nights casual.
By fluffy from chicago suburbs on 12/18/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Plain and simple. Basic and to the point. No frills but well made. Nice trim fit. Sizing is European so be careful which one you order: Read the sizing information! Keeps out the wind, keeps out the rain, and the hood does exactly what it is supposed to do: covers the head and forehead, covers the chin and still has a small sun visor/rain blocker over the eyes.

Good... Could've Been Excellent By Steamboat Dave from Steamboat Springs, CO on 12/01/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good jacket (especially for the money) that could've been excellent. Great durable material, good cut, decent water repellent finish. What needs improvement: the drawcord at the hem won't stay cinched; it could use a Napoleon chest pocket; the neck is a little tight and it's uncomfortable to zip up all the way. Still, if you're looking for an affordable softshell jacket (and you have a small neck!), this one stacks up with brands 4 or 5 times its price.
