By Traveler from Foothill Ranch , CA on 06/11/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Pit Zips, Vented Pockets, Waterproof Cons: Lasted 6yrs lining wore Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great product. We got about 6 yrs casual use out of 2 before the lining delaminated. Not a replacement for Goretex (not as tuff or breathable) but you can't beat the lite weight when traveling. I use mine every time it rains and as an outer shell when it's cool. Got caught in a thunderstorm while hiking in the alps last summer and I was very happy to have it along - stayed dry! Great value for the price.

By rich from Charlotte NC on 06/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Unfortunately, this product has been changed - previous versions included a collar into which the hood wrapped. This one doesn't, and the hood is kind of a mess if not being used. Jacket works great, but is not as nice as it used to be.

Designed as thoughtful quality, light, and packable, not heavy duty use. Bought 2 of them for everyday use in the rain forest.
