Nice jacket for short armed men By Pete Feet from NY on 11/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Really nice jacket, but the arms are way too short for me. I ordered one size down like the other reviews suggested and the overall fit of the jacket was not bad. A good quality and good looking jacket that is let down by ridiculously short sleeves. I am very disappointed to have to return it.

By OldRattler from Upstate, NY on 06/22/2009 Cons: Wool not the same as orig Best Uses: Winter overcoat Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The coat is extremely well made, no shortcuts. The fabric is not as heavy as an original Pea Coat and, therefore, it is not for severe weather as they were. That said, with so many other options, who would wear this beautiful coat out in the rain?

By The pack leader from Harrisonburg, VA on 03/27/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a beautiful and finely crafted coat. It's a bit dressier than some pea coats but looks great with jeans too. I get lots of positive comments on it.
BTW, when they say generously sized they mean generously. I am a 41 and the size 40 was too big for my taste. I like a tighter fit so should have followed their directions and ordered a size smaller. I exchanged for a 38 and it is just right whether wearing a sweater or not. So follow their directions and save yourself a little hassle.
Great coat for Fall or Spring By Happyshopper from Lisle, Il on 03/16/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good coat for men to wear during spring and fall.
Not suitable for winter wear, coat is not insulated.
By Tiger from Staten Island, NY on 03/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice pea coat, but for some reason (color? buttons?), the STP picture of the coat made it look dressier than it actually is. If you want a traditional pea coat, you'll like this coat. If you want a dressier overcoat, this will not be for you.
