By DWM from Cincinnati on 03/10/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the look of the coat. The material is lighter than I expected - I always think of Pea coats as heavy winter coats; and this isn't. I am thin with long arms, so the fit wasn't perfect, but that's more me. I'd recommend to someone looking for a lighter spring coat.
A far, far, cry from my old navy peacoat By In search of quality from Eastern Mass. on 02/24/2009 Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The traditional, double breasted, pea coat is a classic garment that looks great on many men and women. The real item was made from a thick, dense melton wool that would block the chill in a strong winter breeze off of the Atlantic. The fabric that this coat is made from doesn't cut it. Too loosely woven. It's going back.
By jgnova from Washington, Dc on 01/26/2009 Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear a 42 to 44L jacket - and a 36" sleeve length. My tailor had to add material to let the sleeve out enough to look right. Also, I ordered a 44 and it should work if I wear a sweater - but not sure about wearing it just over a shirt.

It would probably fit broad shoulders best, not for the narrow build.
Wrinkles, way too thin, sleeves short! By stim141 from St Louis, MO on 01/12/2009 Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Excellent price, BUT, fit is way off - bought two a 44 and 46. 44 fit was OK but sleeves are WAY too short. The 46 sleeve length was better but still too short. Wear a 34-35 dress shirt so my arms are not ape-like. The 46 was oversized but sloppy - so I unfortunately returned both. The fabric is just so-so. For the sale price it is worth it if you can find one to fit. Overall the coat dimentions are just wrong for the average sized person.

Suggest careful measuring for size before ordering to avoid exchanges.
