I was hoping padded back ment the seat By Gavin from Corvallis Or on 01/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Great Color Cons: Cheap Material, Pockets Too Small Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: water proof ski pants need more materal in the rear. The point of wear is where you set on the icey chair. The extra materal on the inside cuff also not enough. More pockets and vents.
By AK Frank from Alaska on 12/10/2008 Cons: Cheap Material, Funny Cut Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Like some of the other reviews for these pants, the fit is loose which isn't terrible, but the fit/cut feels funny. Otherwise, a big for the size which compounds the way the fit feels.
convenient side zips, fits well By Barber Hiker from Pikes Peak Region, CO on 12/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Quality Material Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These will be great winter waterproof, windproof pants. Big enough to even fit 2 layers underneath, yet not too bulky. I'm 6'0" tall and the inseam could be an inch shorter, but other than that a great fit. Internal gaiters are an added bonus and the full length side zip makes this a great buy. Hope they hold up for many years.
By Jacko from Saranac Lake, NY on 03/12/2008 Cons: Poor velcro design at wai, Side zippers don't lock Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Conservative Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The material is fine, works well. If your relying on the pant adjustment tabs (velcro) to keep your pants secure, forget it. I use suspenders and have used Gorilla Tape on the areas where the clamp-on suspenders clamp on to avoid any more tearing as a result. The zippers that run up the leg don't lock at the end where the velcro folds over them and does not aid in the keeping up of the pants. With these adjustments I have found them to work well enough. These pants would be much better with belt loops. I would never had paid retail @ [$]. But for less than half that they were a bargain.
