They do conform to your shape. For a week in Aspen - they were warm, very comfortable and attractive. I like the fact they are lightweight and not bulky but technically effective. I wore under armour so I didn't experience any itchiness. I really love these pants.

I used them X-country skiing and was warm and dry and very comfortable. They might be itchy without a thin layer of long undies.

They were definitely too big at that size, baggy in many areas, even after the 10 minute try-on suggested. I think a 10 would have been perfect. Personally, I would recommend only ordering up one size at the most.
The fabric is very itchy. Wearing long johns might make them tolerable, but I hate a pant that requires a base layer. That, coupled with the fact that I have a pair that's too large, is why they are going back.

The sizing is small, but [...] warned me prior to purchase. I did really like the tailored look of the pant. They look classy in pictures, if only they'd stay together. I will reorder hoping it was just a glitch in the thread. They did keep me warm, when everyone else was cold.

They are cut to flatter one's shape with plenty of stretch. The fabric inside could have been a bit softer - I'll have to wear long johns to avoid the 'wooly'=scratchy feeling. I have not skied in the pants yet, so I can't say if they're waterproof or not. However, the fabric feels tight enough to keep one dry most of the day (depends on the number of spills, of course!).
