Exception - Xtra long sleeves By Rick the traveler from Colorado on 03/06/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Active, Bargain Shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Best jacket I have ever owned. I bought the same AFRC years ago and LOVED it. Wore it everywhere - seriously everywhere. Left it on an airplane. By the time I got the gate attendent to let me back on someone had "borrowed" it. My heart was broken. STP was out of smalls. Months later my wife noticed a small in black, we ordered it immediately and it is the same amazing jacket except that the sleeves are 5 or 6 inches longer! Go figure. We are trying to decide if we should shorten the sleeves or just send it back. Amazing jacket if the sleeves don't GROW.
By G from North Dakota on 01/21/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice looking fleece jacket but needs some type of lining inside to make it warmer and more comfortable. The collar is somewhat uncomfortable and both sleeves are long with one feeling longer than the other.
By Boarder boy from Wonder Lake, IL on 01/05/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good for running out for staples. Lightweight. It's a little stiff because of the wind block, but not overly so. It seems to have the proper sizing but is a little on the baggy side. I'm 5'11" 190lb. size xl. All-n-all happy with it. Will try snowboarding with it on a spring day.
Good all around wear in winter By Enjoys outdoor from Ventura County, CA on 12/16/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Cuts wind, Versatile Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Best wear under a Gore Tex jacket in winter. Will keep you warm. Almost as good as my Pearl Izumi wind proof bike jacket which has a better fitting cut.
By bikin'bill from hamilton, ohio on 12/15/2007 Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear this jacket for cold weather mtn biking. It's like a lightweight fleece oven. It has to be below freezing or it's too warm.
