Fits great, sleeve length is just right. I like the way this jacket is cut. Lightweight, but still warm. Just wish there were additional colors, I would buy another one.
Well-made Windstopper fleece By Whitey Jenkins from St. Charles, IL on 02/23/2009 Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not zip-in compatible, but, other than that, a quality fleece at a pretty reasonable price.
By the kid with the bike from Philadelphia, PA on 02/14/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been looking for a fleece for a number of years and keep ending up with things that I don't quite like. This fleece has finally ended my search-not that it is perfect, but the pros far outweigh the cons.
Nice that it's windblock, good pockets, good for layering, nice tall collar. My main complaint is that there's a spot where some seams come together right over my collarbone which rubs a bit when I wear a backpack, but it's easy to shift it around so it stops rubbing.
I wear it as casual/activewear and often layer it with something else.
By One Man Parade from Oxford,MS on 02/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Extra long sleeves, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Hiking, Outdoor Fitness, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great multi-use jacket. Good quality material, but cant vouch for duarability, as it is new. I'm 6'2'', and had to get the XL to be comfortable. L was overall uncomf., tight, and too short on the waist. The sleeves on this jacket are longer than most, and may be too long for shorter people; great for me. Length to waist not overly long, but adequate. Will be using for ski trip, backpacking, and everyday. Not rec for biking. You WILL get hot, and its too bulky for carrying while navigating single track. Good for layering, warm enough for 40's in the humid South.
Nice overall quality and fit for movt. By Reno from Oxford, MS on 02/09/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great mutli purpose jacket, without the bulk. I am 6' 2'', 185 lb. Had to send back and get the XL. L was uncomfortable and too short on the waist. Sleeve lenght is great for me, would be too long for some. Will be using to ski, hike, and everyday to work. The wind block is awsome!
By George from Madison, WI on 02/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's a little snug across the shoulders and chest when layering, but otherwise fits very well, performs very well, even on the many days when the temp barely rises above 10 degrees.
By Rob from Minnesota on 02/02/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's amazing how warm a light weight jacket like this can be when it includes a wind block. The high neck, long sleeves, and tail with cinch cords all help as well.
Good jacket. Good Price. Fit is odd. By diamondheart from Portland, OR on 01/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got this on sale online. I hate wearing logos, so this is great. The jacket is light, stylish in many situations, and warm. Windstopper works as advertised, although still not as breathable as I would like.
The main thing I noticed was the odd fit.
I had them send a M and an L. (Depends on the mfr which one fits the best.) The main difference was the fit across the shoulders and the sleeve length. All else seemed the same. I kept the large. It still feels tight across the shoulders because of the way the jacket is cut. So if you have big shoulders, you may find it tight. I definitely recommend trying several of them on if you can.
Other than that, good piece of outerwear.
By Coaster from Moss Beach on 01/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good value, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this for my husband. He's usually a size small. However, in this jacket, for some reason, the armpit holes were unusually small, for a jacket. Meaning he couldn't wear a sweater under the jacket, since it bunched in the armpits. So, I returned it for a Medium, and that seems OK.
