By Jigger from Harrisville RI on 04/24/2009 Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just tried them on. I only got them at the end of the season...so can't really say how the stand up. But I can say this...I've been looking for something that is more on the lite side cuz I'm using them for xc skiing and these seem like they fit the bill!
By mainecoonmom from Raleigh, NC on 03/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were exactly what I was looking for to do some spring skiing. After reading other reviews, I bought a size up but had to return them for my regular size as they were too big. I found them to be true to size. Haven't actively tested them yet but I'm sure they'll be great. Great value.
By BC Mom from Hudson Valley, NY on 03/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cross Country, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a ski instructor and these pants have been great in all sorts of conditions, including heavy wet snow/sleet. They do fit more true to size than I expected (others had said to order a size up), so they are just a tad big on me - but the waist cinches in and there are belt loops, and there's room to add fleece pants underneath on a really cold day. They are not the most modern cut, but they have become my workhorse pants. All in all, I'm really happy with the purchase.
By Funinsun from Oregon on 02/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Getting Started Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have not used this product in the outdoors yet. Fits perfectly and feels great on. I think its great so far.
waterproof ski pants for women By andrea from san diego on 02/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use the waterproof pants to ride my motorcycle in the rain and cold. The pants are great except I thought the waist would fit more like regular women's jeans, and fit more to my hips rather than much higher. But the pants serve the purpose well and more coverage during the rain is better than less.
well-made, comfortable pants By activemom from Boston, MA on 02/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Legs are a bit too roomy Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I thought these were well-made, functional ski pants. I liked the adjustable waist band and higher padded back - both of these are very nice features. However, I did return it because I found the legs to be very roomy which I didn't find very flattering.
By katpie from Gainesville, Florida on 02/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Photography trips Gear Usage: Cold wet photography Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have two pairs of these pants and have used them on photography trips where we sat on the edge of a pond in Iceland and also in Alaska where it got pretty chilly while standing there. They are completely waterproof, block the wind, and are lightweight to carry in your suitcase. The lining is only mesh so I don't know if these would work for really cold activities. Has two deep zippered pockets in the front but would be nice to have a cargo pocket. Waist is adjustible with velcro straps. Inside gaiters tuck into your boots.
By Ar from NY, NY on 01/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Used for skiing
The inseam to the waist is much to long.
By dee dee from Providence, RI on 01/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought 2 pairs of pants to compare. Again, everyone reviewed these as way too small but I only ordered one size up and it was big. They are not great but are waterproof etc. I just didn't think they were great and I have a couple of snow pants already. Great for the price, though.
