By Kim the beginner skier from Atlanta, GA on 01/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these pants for a ski trip in NC (temps ranging from 20-45 degrees). Pants worked great. I was never cold or hot in them. Sizing was a bit tight though, so I'm glad I ordered a size up from my normal pant size. I was able to wear them with one pair of long john pants underneath. I have no complaint. Just glad I ordered a size up after reading other's comments. Also, the pants were very waterproof. I sat down in the snow and fell a few times and the snow just wiped right off even though it was melting on the days it was warmer, it never went through the material. I was very happy with this purchase.

I wear a 7 and ordered a 10 and they fit perfect. The waist is above the hips. They are a perfect thin shell to add layers under if needed.

By SoccerMom from Rockville Centre, New York on 01/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these for my daughter. She is a teenager who is slim and athletic. The size 6 fit well although they were a little big in the waist. She is tall and the length was great. She normally wears a zero in jeans so these run small. It rained a lot when she was skiing over the winter holidays and they were waterproof and she didn't get wet. Need to wear long johns because they are lite but she was warm and comfortable.Great pants for the money and stylish, too.[...]

I would buy this product again. By Susan from Savannah, GA on 12/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like the fit of these pants. I am 5'5", 130 lbs, athletic (tennis player). I normally wear a size 6 but ordered up (8) after reading the other reviews. The 8 is a little roomy giving room for extra layers underneath--but not too roomy. The waist can be drawn in for a better fit and sits higher in the back to prevent snow from entering. I have a little extra padding in the backside and thighs and these pants fit beautifully and look good with or without layers--they do flatter your figure nicely.
