I used these for the first time recently on a mountain hunt and they worked perfectly and the thick laurel did not rip them.

They are a little baggy and I have had to get the length altered. Generally I dont have trouble with the length of my pants but these were defiantly too long. I wear them as an outdoor work pant and also skiing.
