Wear L and purchased XL, just fits over another article of clothing - I wear it over a turtleneck. It gathers where ever the zipper is zipped to. Very lightweight. Looks great on though. Haven't washed it yet so don't know if the fleece will pile. Think will have to lay flat to dry so it doesn't stretch out of shape. Would probably send back but for the price, will keep.
