By Rivermann from New Milford,Illinois on 01/22/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This runs big. It is not a wear alone garment,it is very lightweight. I expected a much heavier garment. It's fine for lounging or wearing under additional warm gear.
For the low price, I'll keep it, but... By SUNLVR from Phoenix, AZ on 01/20/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Light and compressible, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Bulky but light and airy, Giant waist XL sleeves, Poor Fit Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Don't repeat my mistake and confuse this product made [...] by Black Diamond Sportwear [@] with anything from the worldwide, highly respected, and far more well known Black Diamond Equipment, Ltd., founded in 1957 [@] -- these are two separate companies. On January 1, I posted a preliminary review of this microfleece pullover with the headline "Too big; returned it; awaiting smaller." Now that I have exchanged the Large for a Medium, I still feel that I am wearing a tent (due to its giant waist) with extra-long sleeves, so my best guess is that this garment is cut for overlayering but is between one-and-a-half and two sizes too big. Nevertheless, I will not return it for a size Small because a Small might be too tight in the chest for my medium/large build, especially if it shrinks after washing. Having bought similar garments in the past, I'm surprised at how warm this pullover is for it's low weight. While I still dispute the claim that it "keeps out wintry gusts," I am impressed with how dense and very warm the medium-thick fleece is. NOTE: There are no pockets. My rating remains 4, same as my Jan. 1 rating.

By Vinny Da Cop from Fairfield, CT on 01/18/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Sized too big. XL seems like a 2XL, sleeves very long. product looked better online. Not the best quality upon receipt. Good for around the house.
Great price, very useful, good quality. By Zen RN from Ohio on 01/14/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Versatile Best Uses: Layering against cold, Outdoor Activities, Sporting activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Medium quality thermal top. Great deal for the price. Can use without reservation for many outdoor activities because no worries about messing up an expensive item.
By Area15USA from SW USA on 01/11/2009 Cons: Puckered seams, Sleeves too long Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have successfully purchased quite a bit of clothing and footwear for myself and as gifts on Sierra Trading Post and 9 out of 10 purchases are fine, however I was extremely disappointed in this item. The sleeves were several inches too long, the seams were poorly sewn and puckered and caused an ill fit. The garment was described and designed like a light jacket, but the fleece was soooooo thin that it was more like a fleece shirt. On the pro side, the colors were true to the photo. This is an imported knock off of Black Diamond, so don't confuse it with the older, tried and true American company. I am sorry to write a negative review, but this item had some serious quality defects.[...]In spite of this, given my track record with this company, I will continue to shop at Sierra Trading Post.
Size is not true to label By UtahGuy from Fillmore, Utah mountains on 01/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Great fabric, Lightweight Cons: Poor Fit, XXL is more like Xl Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Great look and value and very poor fit.
Satisfied considering the price By Old Baldy from Spruce Pine, NC on 01/06/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, For exercise Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use the jacket and tights for fitness in chilly weather. Would probably need another layer in extremely cold weather. Pockets would have been nice.
By Dick from Cody, WY on 01/06/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Power walking Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am 5'8" tall and wear a 16" x 34" dress shirt. The sleeves are a bit long for a little guy like me. However, when properly layered for very cold weather and breeze, a small price to pay for real comfort. And, a clever guy like me will figure out how to shorten the sleeves if necessary. I would recommend the product for price and performance
By Nightrider from Portland, OR on 01/06/2009 Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Usually like Black Diamond products but this one was odd - got a smaller size than husband asked for, but even still the arms were not only too long, they were too wide, which is very strange. Overall poor fit.
