The sleeves are long enough to cover part of the hand and the sleeves have thumb holes to hold the sleeves close. I bought this shirt for my teenage daughter who needed a shirt for mosquito protection. But as soon as she saw the thumbholes, she ordered them in ever color you had in her size!
