I would buy this shirt again! By AnnieAK from Anchorage, AK on 07/02/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Washes Easily Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my second shirt of this model. I wear it frequently as a casual shirt as well as for cross country skiing in the winter. It is just the right weight and is very comfortable to wear and looks good. I have washed my original one many many times and it still looks great showing no wear.
By Ella from UP Michigan on 07/01/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: At 5'3" and short-waisted, I was disappointed in the length of this shirt. The chest and sleeves were fine, but the overall length needed to be about 2 inches longer. If I wore this outside doing yard work and such, a few inches of my back would be exposed every time I bent over or put my arms above my head. Not good for bug-repellency, or comfort. I even tried a larger size, but had the same problem. Back it went. Too bad though, because all other aspects of the shirt are nice, especially the thumbholes!
Not beautiful but really useful By Jovial Journeyer from New York City on 06/30/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Nice blue color Best Uses: Casual Wear, Used on safari Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought it for mosquito protection in Botswana & Zimbawe. It's very comfortable in cold morning/ evening to very warm afternoon desert weather. Neck zipper in turtleneck very useful for such swings in temps. Thumb holes good for back-of-the-hand protection from the sun while sitting but sleeves too short to use that feature while standing/walking.

It is roomy- just want you want for causual or camping. Haven't tried it on the bugs yet - so I'm crossing my fingers.

By In the Hills from Woodstock, VT on 05/19/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed a long sleeve shirt specifically for bug protection. I got a large, even though I usually take medium, and I'm glad I did. The looser fit will let me use it in more climates. The fabric is more substantial than I expected. Buzz off is great stuff.
Surprised at how much I like this shirt! By JayBee from Wilds of Idaho on 05/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Washes Easily Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Gardening, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this shirt primarily for protection from bugs, to be worn during any outside activity. It's a bonus that it protects from the sun, too! There are thumbholes in the sleeves, but I found them uncomfortable to use while working in the garden because the sleeves are too short. Sleeve length is fine if I'm not using the thumbholes. This is a little disappointing because it would be beneficial to tuck my sleeves into my gloves for full coverage protection. The shirt is more comfortable than I expected.
Avoid the bug spray and the bugs By Kayak Mom from Allentown, PA on 05/06/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Washes Easily Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Our family travels to Maine each summer and the Black Flies up there are famous. We use to soak ourselves with bug spray before going outside. With the Buzz Off shirts, we can avoid some of the chemicals that we are exposed to.
