By LukeR from Springfield, MO on 05/27/2008 Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these pants for around [$] and they were great for what I paid for them. I wore them for 2 days while hiking/post-holing through several feet of snow in Colorado and did not have any problem with the waterproofing (I also had gaiters on). I did have a tear in the seat by the end, probably from glissading. These certainly are not on the same level as Gore-Tex but if you're looking for something cheap to play in the snow periodically these worked great for me. Only drawback is that they only have one pocket, but not a big deal if you have a jacket with many pockets

By Kat from Fullerton, CA on 01/07/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Getting Started Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used these pants for both beginner skiing and just playing in the snow. Worked great! Wish they had more features (ie zippers on the legs for easy on/off w/ ski boots and more pockets - there is only one pocket on the back right but it has a zipper so stuff doesn't fall out).
