As indicated in the Sierra Trading Post write-up, they have few features (pockets, etc.). They seem to be mediocre in quality and were quite bulky.

By 9010 mom from Nor. Cal. on 03/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Playing in the snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these just to play in the snow with my kid--they seem perfect for that. I don't ski, so can't say how they would do for more athletic pursuits. The fit is good; I normally wear a 6 or 8 and the S fits me comfortably. They're warm, but don't make you look like a polar explorer, and the price is right.
