Nice pants, sizing difficult By Aughterbe from Virginia on 02/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am usually somewhere between a 10 and a 12, ordered a 12 and it is too big in the waist-slides down when I'm walking, otherwise I like the fit and they are very comfortable. Great for hiking or dog walking.

By world traveler from washington, DC on 02/05/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Packable Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered a size up based on other reviews, but it was huge in the waist and too small in the hips. I'm so upset! The fit was so awful I am going to return it. Also, the cinder color has a touch of plum.

By pittfan from DC on 12/02/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just as advertised and Columbia good quality. Haven't tried them out in the cooler weather yet, but they will work great in spring and fall when you can decide between long pants or shorts, or need the long pants to keep the ticks away!
By Jo from Estes Park, CO on 11/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Packable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants sit below the natural waistline. They are slim fitting through the hips and the legs are longer than the average pair of pants. I love the fit, but my body type is straight up and down - not curvy. The length is great, especially for those of us with slightly longer legs.
