The fit is very boxy.
By Maggie the nature lover from VA on 12/07/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Back did not hang well Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Warm and lightweight jacket, unattractive buttons. Generally cute, would have kept it but back did not hang well on me.
So comfortable, and cute too! By westcoaster from Moss Beach, CA on 11/01/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Hand wash, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just love this jacket. It's warm, stretchy, and comfortable. The wool is soft, not itchy. The only thing I plan to change are the buttons. They're shiny and very plasticky. So, I'm buying some vintage buttons to replace them. Then the jacket will be perfect!
By Shopper from Chicago on 10/29/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Great price, Quality, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is perfect - It's super cute and excellent quality. It can be dressed up or down - can be worn with just about anything and look appropriate. It's actually more stylish and attractive in person than in the picture. Also the brown color is deeper than it looks on my monitor - The jacket is more of a rich burgundy-brown (which looks fabulous). I should say that I'm on the tall thin side - So, since it's sort of short and a little bit wide/swingy, I'm not sure how it would look on other body types. But the fabric (very warm) is soft and drapes nicely, so I don't think it would make anyone look big or boxy. I've tried lots of other sweaters and jackets elsewhere that were more expensive but weren't nearly as nice. It's so yummy I kinda want two.
By SuzWV from FingerLakes, N.Y. on 08/07/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic, Eclectic, Highend shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This little swing jacket is very sweet. I got the light blue and it's a nice shade. It's soft with a nice swingy shape. The buttons are quite large, but give it a vintage appeal. For the price, I was surprised that it was not lined and the seams are simply exposed and unfinished. It lends a bit of an unconstructed look to it, which I tend to prefer. Also, the boiled wool was quite crumpled probably due to storage and shipping. It needs to be steamed out before wearing. Love it and it's different - but still a bit pricey.
By shopping fool from TN on 07/17/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I sent this back BUT only because of the fabric. the syle, color, design, color, etc were wonderful; just could not stand the fabric. I would recommend this to a friend, but just make sure that they had a better description of the fabric.
