I ordered them in the green color which is a nice color--deep green but not olive green. However, they run large and I had to return the first pair (size 12) and get them in the next smaller size (size 10 - I tend to be on the small side of a size 12 anyway)

The waist is a little too big. I bought the size 4, wish they had a 2. They sit at or just above the waist. You can wear them just about anywhere. I paired them with a nice blouse and wore them to work with clogs.

I did take the advice of the previous reviewers and order a smaller size than normal, and that was a good thing. I am normally a size 6, but I ordered a 4 and they fit perfectly. Very flattering and soft.

The legs taper a bit, so they will be fitted along the leg when worn. The velvetine-type fabric is subtle and I also have not had too much cat-fur cling. I'm 5'8" and these were almost too long for me in the size 10, so perhaps not great for a petite fit unless they are altered. The style is nice and they seem well made.

(I have different jobs, so it's okay). They are a little fuzzy, and that makes them dressy enough for work. Interestingly, however, the fuzziness doesn't mean that the cat fur that permeates my house sticks. It doesn't. But the pants are also casual enough that I can wear them to the pub on the weekend, too. --And did I mention they're comfortable? They fit my contours without being at all clingy. The waist is where it should be, so I don't have to hoick up my pants every time I stand up. The inseam is nice and long so I get an attractive profile against my shoes, but not so long I step on the hems of the pants. My only gripe: I'd love it if the pants had two front pockets you could easily access (there's just one coin pocket in front).

I can be a size 6 or 8 & these are a roomy size 6, but still with enough stretch to fit well & I prefer a little looser.
