By The Skeeze from Durham, NC on 11/10/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: got this jacket for my girlfriend as a birthday present and she instantly loved it! She hasn't had it long, but i can speak on her behalf in saying that it fit perfectly. the cut of the jacket is definitley geared towards being active. It is stretchy so it will accommodate movement, etc. she mentioned the sleeves were long enough also. The "fuzziness" is even more appealing in person.
By Lara from Monument, CO on 11/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Cons: Inadequate Protection Best Uses: Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I thought the sleeves on the jacket were attached too low on the torso, so when I raised my arm the part of the jacket on my body moved around a lot. Also the torso and sleeves were too short. I ordered a medium, but the cut just didn't feel right. I'm planning on sending it back.
One feature of the jacket is that the under arms and sides are made of a stretchy material. I was hoping to get a feel for how this performed when I was active, but I honestly was so dissapointed with the fit that I never took the fleece on an adventure with me.
All in all, a better cut would make the product much better.
By GrammyC from Ashland, OR on 11/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the type of jacket I would pass over in a sports store if I saw it in person. Needless to say, I returned it.
By Jay Pee's Mom from Portland, Oregon on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Strikingly attractive, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this because I needed a good mid-weight layer. I have have bought maybe three in the last few years and not been happy until now! This one has the right degree of warmth and is very comfortable. Then, it turned out to be so darn good looking that I wanted to wear it all the time as a casual, around town jacket. I own a LOT of outdoor gear (I climb in the Cascade Mountains...they can throw anything at you anytime so you have to carry a lot of gear)and I have to say this is one of my all-time favorites.
By Gym Runner from Boston, MA on 08/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cool Weather, Hiking and Camping, Use as a layer Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket fits nicely; it even has a litle room for a vest or another fleece under it, without looking too big. Now that works for me!
