By Love Michigan! from Upper UP, MI on 07/02/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Tailored Fit, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a tiny waist and wear a size 4 in shorts/pants and a 2 in skirts. I ordered the small in this vest and the waist fit perfectly. I have muscular arms and most tiny t-shirts are too tight on my arms. The arm holes on this vest were really big. Tailored fit is very flattering. You can see an entire sports bra through the arm holes.
Surprise, looks classy... Light-weight and styled just a little fitted.
A great addition in this windy place,
it'll fit under all my jackets for an
extra bit of protection. Looks good
enough for town.
Great vest, but order one size larger By pbfoot from Sequim, WA on 06/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great vest. It is well constructed, nice looking, warm and cuts the wind well. I walk quite a bit (outdoors) and have a large yard and garden. We live in a coastal area where the temps are moderate and it is often sunny, but there is almost always a strong breeze or wind. Vests are the perfect second layer here - a coat is too much, a shirt not quite enough. This is a perfect vest for warmth and wind protection. I ordered two of them The only thing I did not like was that I ordered them in my ususal size and couldn't even get them zipped. So, I exchanged for the next size up and they are a good fit.
By sadieb from eau claire, wi on 05/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this vest for everyday wear including dog walks + long bike rides; perfect for all of above. I will wear it alone or as an underlayer for a shell in cooler weather and over base layers in winter. I am never disappointed with Marmot gear.

By Pipperdoodles from northern NM on 05/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been wearing this vest for everyday and for hiking. The weight of it is nice, not heavy or bulky but adds just enough warmth to get me through colder mornings and is a great windblock. It has a soft, slightly fuzzy exterior and interior, two outer pockets, one inner and finally the fit is great - feminine, but not restrictive. There's also a cord along the bottom edge in case you want to cinch it. Personally, I love the "thistle" color and, overall, I've had lots of compliments on this vest. I would have bought a couple more if there had been more colors that suited me.
By guerita from auberry, CA on 04/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This vest is great for doing anything in changeable or windy weather. It is surprisingly warm for a vest, but still good for aerobic activity like x-c skiing since you can unzip it and viola, it's vented. The arm holes are a little small, which is good for keeping the wind out, but it does limit what can be layered underneath. The fit is definately trim.
