very nice jacket, warmer than I expected By Jim the nerd from Eastern Sierra, CA on 11/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is heavier and warmer than I thought it would be, but it is definitely useful in colder weather. Layered it would function as a parka. Nice looking. It's a real bargain.

Columbia Free Agent Parka By Bugs from Yorba Linda, Ca on 09/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Some reviews state they run small. I wear either a M or L depending on the brand. I got the L and it is only slightly to big. The M would have been too small. Good style and quality. Not too heavy, but much more warmth than a shell. I bought it for casual wear in cold (20-40') weather. I have a heavier jacket for skiing.

By ClimberJ from Helena, MT on 06/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Windproof Cons: Inadequate Protection, not warm enough Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not a bad jacket, but not really a parka, it is too light and not good for really cold weather. But it is very light for the protection it does offer. Be sure to order one size up and it will fit well.

By Snow lover from Chicago area on 05/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Would have liked a zip out liner and a few more pockets, but otherwise a nice jacket.
By NorthwestMN from Northwest Minnesota on 04/21/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to return the L for an XL, which is odd because my other Columbia jacket is an L. Also, it is described as a parka, but for really cold weather you will need an insulating layer. My other Columbia "parka" is much better insulated. Good jacket with these caveats.
