surprisingly nice looking and effective By vivabenfica from saratoga springs, ny on 12/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: bought this to use as my snow clearing jacket, ended up being my most used jacket, and i got rid of my primaloft parka. with a sweatshirt and fleece underneath, wore it in -5F weather and was toasty. you can layer underneath it, and it stays snug.
if you are very big in the upper body, this may not work, but i am 6'4", 205lbs and it is fine.

By nate from Nashville on 03/17/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Hood is attached, Short torso Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this strictly for skiing with plans to wear it next year during the winter. Its almost freakishly warm! Not a good buy if it doesnt get that cold where you're at! But all the times I ate it coming down the mountain, not a bit of moisture got through.
The only Con's:
It would be nice if the fleece lining came out easier. It got REALLY hot in the car.
The hood is attached. I didnt know this about the coat before buying it, so keep that in mind. It lays flat, but I really wanted to take it off.
Its almost too short. I'm 6'0 and it really could have used another 3 inches or so. Not a deal killer though!
