Columbia always runs small By osmosis from Lexington, KY on 01/12/2009 Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Columbia always runs small in size. Ordered my normal size for this product line and felt like I was trying to squeeze into a size 6. These pants are cute and would look great on someone with no curves or waistline.

comfortable, casual pants By Scratch from WA on 08/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Stylish, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, Eclectic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants feel a bit snug at first but loosen up just enough to be very comfortable soon after putting them on. They are low in the waist so if you like them "at" or "just below" the waist- don't buy them. I'm between sizes (10 - 8), and size 8 fit perfectly.
By Clark from Madison, WI on 08/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Leisure Wear, To School Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Eclectic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Very cute pants, definitely a few steps above the androgenous active khakis women have been faced with in the recent past. They would have been perfect with a more boot-cut leg. The straight leg just wasn't flattering. I returned them after only trying them on, but I suspect they would stretch out a little. May want to go down a size. I'm a 4 and they fit, but had some room to spare.
stylie-casual and flattering By frecklesoup from Longmont, CO on 07/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stylish, Washes Well Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Leisure Wear, On a Date, To School Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Eclectic, Trendy Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants flatter my figure (Size 8 with some bootie and a waistline--although that's expanding with age!). I find them very comfy and stylish. They fall below the waist, but not TOO low. A good purchase.
By Andes adventurer from Tucson, AZ on 07/23/2008 Pros: Flattering, High Quality, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Work Days, On The Weekend, To School Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants were stylish and durable. However, I ordered them for a hiking trip, and returned them because they seem more suitable for a trip to the mall. The material was too heavy for hiking.
Articulated Knees add everyday comfort By Gal on the Go-Summer hikes/ Winter Snow from Western MA on 07/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stylish, Washes Well Cons: Low at the waist but OK Best Uses: As versatile as jeans, Casual Work Days, Comfort-Oriented, On The Weekend, To School Describe Yourself: Casual, Eclectic, Picky with Purpose Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I would have preferred the waist just a little bit closer to a classic waist but the overall comfort and style (and for me the color-black) won out. The fabric is heavier than the Columbia Cape Kiwanda more like a soft denim, but it will be great for the late summer/fall weather here in New England.
cool pants, weird pockets By dangergirl from northern california on 06/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Stylish Cons: Bulky pockets, Falls Too Low Below The Waist Best Uses: Comfort-Oriented, On The Weekend Describe Yourself: Active, Athletic, Trendy Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfy pants, but unfortunately pockets have multiple snaps that create bulk in the wrong places. On my figure (thin but not twiggy), that means my butt looked kinda bulgy and upper thighs a little wide =( Rise is also very short! Perhaps I wouldn't have noticed if pants were looser, but I like fitted clothing& these don't really follow my curves in a flattering way. Otherwise, very soft with high-quality fabric & construction. Just wish those darn pockets were flatter!
By Ugeena from Brookline MA on 06/05/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Comfort-Oriented, On The Weekend, To School Describe Yourself: Career, Casual, Eclectic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are comfortable and flattering. Although casual, they are nice enough for me to wear to work. I really love them. Plus, it's useful to have all those pockets!
