By Designer from New York City on 07/29/2009 Pros: Great Color, High Quality Cons: Falls Too Low Below The Waist, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice pants but not for me. The rise was too low, and I am curvy. They also seemed to be sized small, I am usually between an 8 and a 10, and the 10 was way too small. So back they went. But for the right figure —slim and tall — these are really nice pants.
By Satisfied Customer from South Carolina on 07/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants do wrinkle terribly, but I figure it's a necessary tradeoff for chinos that are lightweight and breatheable enough to wear through the summer. In fact, they are pretty much the only pants I've found that even come close to fitting me that I can stand to wear once it hits 90. I can't call them stylish, but they are pretty flattering---they do a good job of making my legs look longer and my hips smaller. The waist gapes a bit in the back, but less so that 90% of everything else on the market. And they hold up pretty well for something so thin. I got two years out of the first pair I bought, and I wore them _a lot._
Because "curvy" means different things to different people: I have a 27" waist and 38" hips. The sizing isn't perfectly consistent (on one pair I ordered, the waist seemed a full inch larger than my others), but the 6s are generally a good fit. By Comfy Clothes Lover from West Cjhester, PA on 06/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice fabric that works for day-to-day wear as well as for a bit dressier with a fancy top. Great fit in general, except the length really was loooong.
By Casual Chic from Oregon on 06/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Sturdy Cons: Material not as expected Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I thought the twill fabric would be a bit more thin. It is very thick like a pair of jeans. This can be a good thing -- just not what I expected. I have a different pair of Columbia "twill" pants and the material is very soft and flows a little bit. I think I would love these pants and give them a 5 if not for the material. They have a GREAT FIT though!
Nice pants, but a bit too long By CG from Westminster, MD on 05/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Wrinkle-Free Cons: Too long for 5'4" ht Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice pants, but I need to hem them which I don't usually have to do for this brand. Very nice product.
A bit too casual for what I wanted. By crabpatty from virginia beach,va on 05/01/2009 Cons: Color Not As Expected Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I saw the brand and thought "what a deal", but they are a bit more on the casual side than I prefer. I don't know what color I would wear with them. They are an unusual color. Sort of "dirt" color, not brown, and not khaki.I am not a big brown fan.I should have known better. If I want casual, I will stick to the internationally accepted, good old, all American, Blue Jeans.
