Comfortable and looks great
By Florida_Gal from Orlando, FL on 08/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt has enough stretch in it to be extremely comfortable. Also, I am 5'10" and have long arms, so it is nice to find a shirt that is proportional to my height and body. It has UV protection, but I don't anticipate wearing it for hiking or extended outdoor activities as it is black. I will definitely wear it to work or for casual wear, and may see whether or not the black color makes it too hot for Florida's outdoor weather.
Great shirt for being outdoors By Karen S. from Bisbee, AZ on 08/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Hiking, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this to wear when I'm biking in the desert sun. It's comfortable and fits well. I was a little leery of it being breathable, since it's polyester, but it worked well and I'm quite pleased with it. I hope to wear this on my next bike tour and be able to wear it to dinner at a restaurant as well as on the bike (but not on the same day!).
By Active senior from Champaign, IL on 08/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A nice, silky shirt, which because of the SPF factor I thought I could use for hiking. But it only has one small pocket on the sleeve (odd place--not very useful) and though the yoke is mesh lined, it is stitched down all the way around so it provides no ventilation. It is cut well enough to wear for work or even dress, as well as for casual wear. A warning--I have long arms and the arms in this shirt are a bit long even for me. No tabs to roll the sleeves up. I haven't washed it enough yet so don't know how it holds up with frequent washing.
Very comfortable, nice material By Outdoor girl from Maitland, FL on 07/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great travel shirt - easy to care for, quick drying. A bit dressier than other hiking/travel shirts. Material is wonderfully comfortable.
Love this shirt, but it runs small By freemd from Boston, MA on 05/25/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt looks great and is really comfortable. I said it probably shouldn't be worn to work, but I am a physician and wore it one Friday and got lots of compliments. I am usually a size 6 -8, and the size 10 -12 just fits me. So it runs really small. If you are big chested this might not be for you.
By K the traveler from Stuttgart, Germany on 04/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Outdoor Activities, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this shirt. I have packed it for several trips to Africa, as well as worn it around Europe. It is light enough to wear in hot weather, but it looks elegant and can take you from day to evening.
By Jeepers from Florida on 04/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Compared to other brands I've purchased, this Columbia shirt (XL) was too small and I couldn't button it. Otherwise, loved the shirt, wish I could have kept it!!
