Comments: I am very pleased with the overall design, quality and craftsmanship of the Mother Technical Bird Hunting Pack. It has all the advantages of a small, technical backpack, tailored to the bird hunter. My main concern was that the shoulder straps would interfere with shouldering the gun, but this has not proven to be an issue. It has GOBS of storage, smartly laid out. The side pockets are particularly nice and contain three separate compartments to each, with snap, magnetic and zippered closures. I'm quite happy with my purchase, and would certainly recommend this item to others.

Comments: Hunting in the Australian winter is a tough ask . The days still reach 30 degrees celsius . This Mother pack is just the thing ! Ample room for birds &/or bunnies . Water for yourself & your dog . Storage for gear . Great chest strap keeps the harness clear of gun mounts . Equal distibution of weight between shoulders & hips . BIG TIP : remove the magnets from the cartridge pouch if you carry a compass .

Pros:
Flat shoulder straps, Pockets, Sternum strap
Cons:
Bladder pocket, Limited waist adjustment
Best Uses:
Bird hunting, Shotguns

Experienced Hunter
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: Purchased for chukar hunting to replace a worn out Quilomene vest. Bladder pocket contacts the back so water will get hot, and has a small entry opening. I'll probably put the bladder in the large pocket on the rear. Good game bag, water bottle pockets for carrying dog water. Shell pockets (2) have magnetic and zip closures, each will hold about 25 shells (20ga). Fully cinched, waist belt is a little loose on my 32" waist (mine is labeled "regular" size).
