I'm glad I didn't go any smaller b/c then I might not have been able to get my foot into the boot due to my high arches. The boots are a bit long (lots of toe room) but not too much that they are awkward to walk in. They do make my feet look kind of big, but at least they don't make them look wide. The width is perfect. The soles are slippery at first, but once they get scuffed they're not so bad. I like the fact that they're leather inside and out. These are a great deal considering you'd pay twice as much for a comparable or inferior leather boot at a retail or department store.

However, once broken in they are good city walking boots. I doubt they would do well in serious inclement weather.

All leather, inside and out! The fit is very good and they are very comfortable. The upper calf area of the boot was too tight at first, but I found online instructions for stretching leather boots and now they fit like a glove!

Very stylish. By the time I received them, the weather turned warm, so I haven't experienced long term wear yet. But they look and feel great. Ordered half size smaller; still a bit big, but should be fine with inserts and thicker socks (which will be good with cold weather). One drawback is that it has leather soles; would be better if it had rubber with some traction.

After using the zoom feature I thought that the zipper went down far enough to accomodate the extra room needed with a high arch. They fit very well with a bit of extra room for warm socks. The leather is extremely good quality!

They do run a little large but that will enable me to wear a thick sock which is good b/c I was afraid the stitch that runs across the back of the heel might give me blisters. Leather had what looked like white stuff on it, on the cuffs, but I applied leather lotion and it now looks really good. I'd call these boots casual. There is no way I could get even the thinnest jean legs into them but my calves do run sorta large I guess. Soles are extremely (and I mean extremely) slippery just inside on carpet, which is the only place I've tested the boots yet.
