I returned them.

By Jess from SF Bay Area, CA on 07/25/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The tie-up feature of these pants is great. They'd make great hiking pants when going through tick country (or any place you're worried about creepy crawlies entering your pants.) The pants come with straps and snaps so that you can roll the cuffs up to two different lengths if you're not tying them at the ankles. Problem is, the first snap height is just above the ankles which makes them look too short to be long pants and too long to be capris. The second height is just below mid-calf. I would much prefer that the roll-up cuff height be closer to the knee. The leg length is plenty long so that when they are tied they stay at your ankles and don't ride up your calves when your knees bend. I just can't really figure out how to wear them when I don't want them tied at the ankles. I'm 5'5".
Nice fit, smooth comfy feel, a bit long. By Lyndelou from Missoula, MT on 07/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Functional, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants will work well for casual professional work wear. I will hem them shorter, take out the dangling straps that lend to the shortening feature, making them a great fitting pant that will wear long and well.
