A nice substitute for hoodie sweatshirt By OleMissChrissy from Oxford, MS on 10/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a really cool take on a hooded sweater. When the hood is up, the cowl neck looks really effortless and cool.
I bought this sweater for a friend who goes to college in Vancouver. It looks like a nice alternative to wearing a hoodie sweatshirt in that rainy climate. We wear approximately the same size, and I think this sweater fits well. This sweater looks like it will look even cooler as it ages. Purple is her favorite color, so I think the color of this sweater is great. I hope she loves it!! (P.S. I'm considering buying this sweater in blue for myself.)
By A shopper from Duluth MN on 10/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Stylish Best Uses: Going Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This was my absolute favorite sweater. The color (red), fit, and fabric were wonderful. The neck can be worn as a hood, cowl neck, or over to one side. I received many compliments on this sweater.
Unfortunately, it's dry clean only, which I refuse to do with anything. I tried the gentle cycle, and laid it flat to dry. Unfortunately, it still shrank - mostly the length. I will be ordering a new one. And I may even break my own rule and go ahead and dry clean this one.
By gardensimple from Colorado Springs, CO on 09/26/2008 Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the color and it should be great for winter, but I wasn't expecting the hood on the back. I thought it would just be a cowlneck sweater, with the same size "collar" all the way around. My husband says it looks just fine and I'm going to keep it, but be aware that a hood is not mentioned in the description or shown in the photos. The fabric is a little itchy but I'm hoping that will go away with a few washes, and if you wear a short- or long-sleeve shirt underneath it's not a big deal.
