Not hot as synthetic shearing is!!! By toptomato from Columbus, OH on 03/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like these slippers because the natural shearing keeps my feet at a comfortable temperature unlike faux shearing. I cannot wear synthetic fabrics because for some reason my skin cannot breath.

Bubble gum color Bubble Yum, not Bazooka By Kitchen Diva from Port Huron, MI on 02/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The bubble gum color is BRIGHT in a fake food coloring way. I decided to try the scuff thinking it might be cooler, but I find myself falling off the side of the slipper, so I will go back to the clog style next time. It's not that the slipper falls off, just that my heel slides off. I hope I don't twist my ankle. Otherwise warm and durably constructed.

The sheepskin is great for warmth and comfort.

Like a duvet for your feet By Kt from Denver, CO on 11/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Style Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very cozy slippers to shuffle around the house in. The sheekpskin lining is really thick and warm. Of course one's heel is exposed when wearing them so they wouldn't be great for a trip to the woodpile in winter. The soles are a bit stiff so it can be difficult, for example, when going up/down stairs to know where the edges of the stairs are...otherwise, I recommend these in terms of warmth and comfort.
By Tender feet from Ft. Collins, CO on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Sole isn't too stiff, and they are nice and soft and warm. I have plantar fasciitis (as do many people!) and need arch support. Unfortunately, like most slippers there is no arch support with any Acorns I've seen so far, including these. They would be good for people who haven't developed plantar fasciitis (yet... keep going around with no arch support and you're more likely to get it!) I sent them back and bought some wool Haflingers that do have good arch support instead. I'm happy now, and my feet are almost pain free:-)
