I gave it away to someone else who will hopefully not have such a problem with it.

Great for after the shower, hanging out at home, running out to the porch for the paper. These also seem to resist water stains pretty well without being treated. Love the cushy soles. I wear a size 8.5 in a street shoe, and the size 8 slippers fit perfectly.

The front end is not the problem, but it opens up wider in the middle towards your ankles, when you actually want the sides to stand firm, lightly touching your feet.

I tried wearing them with attention to keeping my feet in the center, but it didn't work. This could lead to a fall, so I returned them.
I have been wearing other styles of Acorn sheepskin slippers for decades, and liked them. But these were uncomfortable and dangerous.

How did that happen? It is too bad because the slipper itself is everything he wanted: warm, supportive for his high arches, easy on and off and able to go in and out.
