By Chauga Wanderer from Madison, SC on 02/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Very packable Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great to layer under a long sleeved shirt for warm winter or late winter hikes when a long sleeved base layer is too warm. Super for areas where there may be a 40+ degree rise in temp during the day. Shed the long sleeved shirt and you are ready to go.

By Sally the hiker from Sierra Foothills, CA on 07/28/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had planned to use this shirt for hiking and fishing in a hot climate. It is too snug to really be comfortable for that; more like a cycling jersey. It is attractive and appears to be well made.
By Loves to Travel from Redmond, WA on 07/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Washes Easily Cons: Threads "pill" easily Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It is quite "clingy" and needs a silk camisole underneath to "look right". My camera strap rubbed the fabric and caused unsightly "pilling".
It was nice to have in my carry-on bag since it is lightweight and that's the only luggage I took for my 2 1/2 week vacation to Europe this summer, but this will not last long in my wardrobe. The fabric damages too easily with snags and pilling.
Super soft and lightweight By Laura from Tacoma, WA on 07/02/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Soft Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Exercise, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved this shirt the second I put it on. It's super soft and incredibly light weight. Perfect for a hot hike or workout at the gym. I got the blue color, which is a nice shade. The dark grey mesh panels at the shoulders and sleeve are functional as padding/vents, so I appreciate them on that level, but I think it brings down the look of the shirt a bit. In person they are more noticeable than they are on the site. If it weren't for those, I'd probably be wearing this for a casual around-town shirt, too. As it is, it definitely looks like a "sports/adventure" shirt. Still, the fit and feel is awesome. Incredibly comfortable.
