Ground Armstrong Pullover Jacket (For Me By A from Boise, id on 09/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Jacket is very light weight, not to be used for warmth. Full length zipper would be more ideal.
By Wolf Lake Runner from Saranac, New York on 06/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Windproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: An excellent pullover. A front kangaroo pocket would have made it near perfect.
By Clark from Northern California on 04/08/2009 Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the best top for the vast majority of iffy weather. I like the way that it fits a bit looser and is a bit longer than most other performance jackets. The only thing it could use is some kind of handwarmer pockets.
It's extremely breathable and blocks enough wind- perfect for cycling and hiking. I like the subdued styling also.
By Kevin from Connecticut on 01/09/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: To bad I did not receive the size I wanted. I do think the sie would have been perfect for me had I received the XL that I ordered. The bag it was in said it was an XL, but after washing and putting it on realized something was wrong and looked at the inside tag and found an L not XL. Oh well. Life goes on. Check your size on tag!!! I thought the sweatsirt would have been heavier than it was.
More like a shirt than a jacket... By Tom from Portland, Oregon on 11/19/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: First of all, this pullover is more of an all-weather shirt than a jacket (at least for the pacific northwest). For that, it excels incredibly - fast-drying, moderately water and wind resistant. I wouldn't rely on it for anything more than a summer-night windbreaker, though. Aside from that:
* It's very well-built
* great design - the one-handed hood cinch is brilliant!
* light and packable. A great stash in a day pack or bike pack.
It's a teeny bit big (to wear a t-shirt underneath), but not enough to order a size down.
