Product headline should give it away.... By wants to be in Vermont from but stuck in Philadelphia PA on 07/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Cons: ID pocket needed, Not Enough Pockets or Features, Waterbottle pocket needed Best Uses: Casual Wear, Good as outer layer, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice clean lines means less wind resistance. (water bottle)pocket on back would be convenient. Long sleeves necessary when cycling.Thumb loops at ends of sleeves would be helpful.
Great "ultra light weight" Jacket By Natron from North Bend, WA on 04/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Cons: Fit is on the big side. For aerobic activity I do not like a baggy fit, to flap around in the wind.
PROS: Perfect chest pocket. The jacket has a tightly woven strechy schoeller feel to it that makes for a comfortable jacket. It is reasonably waterproof, and perfect for High intensity aerobic activity in cool weather. The sleeves are extra long, which is neccesary for cycling.
By Frequent Buyer in Santa Fe from Santa Fe, NM on 12/27/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Water repellent, Windproof Best Uses: Aerobicscasual cycling Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I returned the original large (42-44) because it was just a little too big and the sleeves were too long. The medium is fine. I like the PerTex fabric for breathability and yet cutting the stiff winds and for being water repellent -- should I get caught in some brief rain while outdoors. It's not meant to be a warm jacket -- don't expect it! - it's thin and lightweight. I imagine an underlayer of fleece would be all one would need to be warm, though.
A very nice outer layer for walking, cycling recreationally, etc. Well made and a quality product!
By fricka from Lubbock, TX on 12/11/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The material is a bit stretchy. This makes the jacket very comfortable, but not very insulated. Also, the material does not seem very durable (scuffproof, etc). It is a great jacket as a shell for aerobic jogging, etc. It is also a nice casual jacket for not too cold days. I don't think it would hold up to abuse.
