Lightweight, super soft, and fitted By Ski Girl from Boston, MA on 10/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Inadequate Protection, Not Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: From the picture, I almost thought it was mostly a softshell with fleece shoulders but the title doesn't lie: it's a fleece. I also expected it to be a bit thicker (and warmer) but it's a very thin microfleece. That said, I wouldn't recommend it as a body-warming middle layer for the winter mountains (which is what I wanted to use it for and returned it). If you're looking for a sporty fall vest or a fall/spring wardrobe addition, this may be the one.
